Love is patient. Love is kind. If you’ve ever attended a wedding, it’s more than likely you’ve heard that passage read aloud. Love is one of the highest vibrations of all. The vibration of love is quite different from what many people label as love.
“I’m in love,” can be a statement of infatuation. It can be used to justify many things that are in no way representative of a loving vibration. “He/she loves me,” can be used as an excuse for tolerating some very low vibration actions.
I’m here to tell you right now- love never hurts. Period. End of story. If you believe that someone loves you, yet they make you hurt emotionally or physically, you are using the wrong label. Even great relationships can ebb and flow with vibration, but they stay in a positive vibration. Using fear or threat or any other lower vibration to get what you want from someone is not love. Please see that now if you are in that type of situation.
This not only applies just to romantic relationships, but it also applies to relationships in families and friendships as well. If a relationship and interaction with someone is not lifting you up, raising your vibration, or making you feel better, is it love? What are you labeling love? Those words being said to you, would they say them to an innocent baby? Are they coming from a place of higher or lower vibration? If it hurts, it’s not love.
Someone who loves you might say something from time to time that hurts your feelings. We’re human, we all make mistakes, but a continual lower vibration and clearly any type of physical threat or harm is not a loving situation. What might be labeled as love could just be a chemical trigger of infatuation, a fear of being alone, or a mislabeled need for attention. Are the relationships which you label as loving, lifting up your vibration? Do they support, inspire, and comfort you in a positive fashion?
If someone is hurting you, it’s not love. Get out. Get away. Move towards a more positive situation and be around people who will lift you up. It might be scary to leave something familiar. It might be hard to start over. It may be difficult to walk away from a long history together. Do it anyways. You deserve better. Real love is out there, and you’ll find it when you understand that it’s a vibration and not a label.
