We’re told many times throughout our lives, that you can’t have it all. But I’m here to tell you, that’s not true. I submit my life as an example of someone who does have it all, and I truly appreciate it every day! So did the appreciation and positive attitude lead to having it all, or the other way around?
I have abundance all around me. I am surrounded by friends and family that love me and support me and laugh at my wild comments. I work with people I love. My health is better than ever, and I grow stronger every day. I travel the world to meet new people and learn about different cultures. I enjoy my time in nature with dogs and llamas always around me. I am filled with purpose to help others find their own path to happiness. And I am blessed to be enlightened and aware of my connection to everything in this world and beyond.
The point of this post isn’t to make you feel lesser if you don’t have it all, but rather to let you know that it’s possible to change your life with your thoughts. Every one of you deserves to have it all. So let’s start there- if for any reason you believe that you somehow don’t deserve it all, it’s time to erase that thought! Your thoughts do create you life; so until you truly believe it, it’s not going to happen.
Having it all doesn’t mean it can’t get any better. I still have a day job, but I plan to move more towards my passion of coaching this year. By loving what I have now, I make it easier to move towards something better. I learned years ago that the one way to change something you don’t like is to focus all your energy in finding the good in it. Even if you hate something, it has taught you a lesson and enlightened you to what you don’t want in your life. If I was to check out and be mediocre in my work, that wouldn’t be creating the vibe I want in my new career. So I give my best, knowing that each day I move closer to my dream.
Today starts a new year, and this is often a great time to set new goals. Where can you make the largest change in your life? I believe all change first begins with a thought. So maybe changing your thoughts is the best goal you can set for yourself. Write down some affirmations and put them where you will see them/ on the mirror, your fridge, in the car. Get a planner and write down reminders to check in each week and make sure your thoughts align with what you want. Life comes at us with constant distractions, and it’s so easy to forget that we have to believe to achieve. Make this the year that you change your thoughts, and let those positive thoughts guide your actions. Starting with- “I am enough,” (those 3 words will make a change in your life for sure)!
If you can love today, then your tomorrow will start with a loving vibration. If you can love your body as it is today, then you are more likely to make positive choices that will lead to a more healthy body tomorrow. When you can love yourself as you are, you are more likely to attract friends or a partner that will love you just as you are as well. When you can appreciate what you have now and get rid of items you don’t love, you will create a space and a vibration for more things that you will appreciate to enter your life.
If you’re ready to have it all, go for it! If you need someone to help lead you along the way, maybe a life coach is a great choice for this year. I’d love to help you have it all!
